In this column I'll include any breaking news, such as information on upcoming releases or tours.

Simple Things

 

Due to be released in 2003.  This album has been trying to release for 5 years now, unsuccessfully!  Seems its been anything but simple.  As announced by Amy's camp, we can expect to see this album finally release sometime in late spring or summer.

Upcoming Appearances

Amy is due to perform in a tribute to Sir Elton John at the NAMM on January 17th.  This show is not open to the general public but more info will be provided as available.

Amy and Vince are slated to appear on Lifetime once again  in "Celebrity Couples" on February 10th.

 

Hall of Famer!!

Amy has recently been inducted into the GMA Hall of Fame.  She will be honored during the 34th Annual Dove Awards on April 10, 2003 in Nashville, announced Frank Breeden, president of the GMA.

Look for Amy to appear on Vince's new album, Next Big Thing to be released February 11, 2003.  You might also find her on stage with him as he tours this spring and summer.  Tour dates and cities can be found at VGOFC.  Summer dates are subject to change!

Heads Up!!
 
Smitty and Amy are at it again!!  She appears on Michael's new release titled "Worship Again".  It is now available in stores everywhere.  It seems there was little talk about their musical collaboration on this project but Amy appears singing on this album in Track #12 titled "Lord Have Mercy". 
 
For those of you who don't know this, Amy and Michael have worked together musically on many different projects over the last 22 years.  Being part of that initial vision and two backbone figures of the "CCM Industry" when they come together on any album or song whether it be lyrically or vocally, we are always in for a treat!
